Some Enchanted Evening is the second live album by Blue Öyster Cult, released in September 1978. It is Blue Öyster Cult’s best selling live album, having sold two million copies, including over a million in the United States. The album’s seven original tracks were recorded at various locations in the United States and England. The album was re-issued on CD in early 2007 on Legacy Recordings and included seven previously unreleased bonus tracks recorded in various locations around the US, along with a DVD entitled Some OTHER Enchanted Evening, which featured a previously unreleased performance.

Blue Öyster Cult (often abbreviated BÖC or BOC) is an American rock band formed on Long Island, New York in 1967, perhaps best known for the singles "(Don't Fear) The Reaper", "Burnin' for You", and "Godzilla. Blue Öyster Cult has sold more than 24 million records worldwide, including 7 million in the United States alone  . In February 2007, the Sony Legacy remaster series continued, releasing expanded versions of studio album Spectres and live album Some Enchanted Evening. In December 2008, BÖC management announced that Roeser had fallen down a staircase in his Florida home and injured his shoulder.

A perfectly acceptable, completely unnecessary souvenir record from a hard-touring band of the '70s.
