Dead Boys are an American punk rock band from Cleveland, Ohio. The band was among the first wave of punk bands, and was known as one of the rowdiest and most violent punk groups of the era. Dead Boys were formed by vocalist Stiv Bators, lead guitarist Cheetah Chrome, rhythm guitarist Jimmy Zero, bassist Jeff Magnum, and drummer Johnny Blitz in 1976, splintering off of the band Rocket From The Tombs. They released two studio albums, Young Loud and Snotty and We Have Come for Your Children.

They adopted the name The Dead Boys when they relocated to New York City in July 1976 where they were active until 1979. They briefly reunited in 1986 and again in 2004 and 2005 without Stiv Bators who passed away in 1990. Apodos: Frankenstein (3). Miembros: Gene O'Connor, George Cabaniss, Jake Hout, Jason Kottwitz, Jeff Magnum (2), John Madansky, Ricky Rat, Stiv Bators, William James Wilden.

Young Sam Fender fits snuggly into the same camp as someone like Declan McKenna with his brand of conscious indie rock tunes that struggle for a balance of substance and style on his debut EP. Title track Dead Boys ensures it peaks with a compelling narrative about male suicide that feels genuine and compassionate, the production being fairly clean but busy enough to avoid putting the track off kilter.

Apart from Young, Loud and Snotty and We Have Come for Your Children, the only other legal Dead Boys album is Night of the Living Dead Boys, which was recorded live at CBGB in New York in March 1979 but didn't come out until 1981 (the year after their breakup). In 1979, CBGB was considered the Village Vanguard of punk and new wave, and it was the perfect venue for the Dead Boys when they played New York. Tell Me. Mick Jagger, Keith Richards.
