Bass Bomb, Vol. 3: Freestyle Latin Hip Hop. 1994. Like its predecessor, Bass Bomb, Vol. 3 is a 12-track collection of bass- and groove-heavy hip-hop, urban R&B and rap. The title may lead you to believe that these are all Miami bass cuts, but that's not true - there's very little bass music here, just a lot of hip-hop with loud bass. Some cuts are quite good, but much of the material here is unfortunately of mediocre quality; however, casual hip-hop fans might find a couple cuts worthwhile.

Shop Vinyl and CDs and complete your collection. A delicious compilation of miami bass/hearthrob/ freestyle. The tracks made quite a rotation on the US' radio stations, although a genre short lived. A bit hard to find on vinyl, but there are a few copies floating around still. Volumes 1-3 are strongly compiled, yet by volume 4, the novelty loses its luster. This is a collection worth owning on vinyl, nevertheless.
