Epica has released 'The Solace System', a great EP companion piece to their incredibly epic and masterful symphonic album, 'The Holographic Principle'. The Solace System is a six track EP of unreleased material from The Holographic Principle, which released late last year. To me, The Holographic Principle was the most balanced and consistent album Epica has ever released. So it's no surprise that The Solace System has the same quality in every track. Half the length, this release still packs a hefty punch and these tracks definitely are not throw away B-Sides
The discography of Epica, a Dutch symphonic metal band, consists of seven studio albums, two live albums, two extended plays (one under the name of Sahara Dust), one soundtrack, and fourteen singles.
