Both Sides is one album that may show a little more signs of improvement than other albums. The album always had a little more delicate touch then some of his other albums. Best I remember, Phil recorded most of this on his own, playing most all the instruments. The booklet comes with two fold out pictures of Phil and the lyrics. 5 people found this helpful.

Band Name Phil Collins. Album Name Both Sides. Released date 08 November 1993. Labels WEA Virgin Records Atlantic Records. 1. Both Sides of the Story. 2. Can't Turn Back the Years.
Phil Collins is a one-man band. He still can’t dance; there are only 3 uptempo songs on this solemn set; but he sings and plays, or programs, instruments without missing a beat. If you didn’t know any better, you might think you were listening to another Genesis album. Both Sides isn’t as epic as We Can’t Dance; few albums are; but it’s a worthy follow-up. The voice of Phil Collins remains a blanket of melody, which helps give a warm comfortable atmosphere to these songs. Some, including the idyllic title track, are great.
