VU ‎– Live '68. Label: Lurid Records Ltd ‎– LURID 10. Tracks A1 through B1 recorded October 2, 1968 at La Cave, Cleveland, Ohio.

The band's first tour in support of In Humor and Sadness will be with Listener (whose vocalist Dan Smith previously guested on The Chariot's 2010 album, Long Live) and Homeless Gospel Choir The band entered the studio in January 2016 to work on its second album and follow-up to In Humor and Sadness. The band released a demo of a new song called "You'll Miss Us" on March 14, 2016 via YouTube.

VU is an outtakes compilation album by the Velvet Underground. It was released in February 1985 by Verve Records. When the Velvet Underground moved from Verve Records (who had released their first two albums) to parent company MGM Records, they signed a two-album deal, releasing their third and eponymous album The Velvet Underground in March 1969. Later that same year there was a management change and MGM Records' new CEO, Mike Curb, was brought in to try to rescue the financially struggling label

Yardbirds '68 is divided into two parts: "Live at Anderson Theater," a concert recording, and "Studio Sketches," a collection of alternate takes and demos made during that era. Both sets feature Jimmy Page on guitar. The live portion of the album includes some of the band's standards, like "Train Kept A Rollin'" and "Heart Full of Soul," as well as newer songs like "Drinking Muddy Water," which was on the original band's final album, 1967's Little Games; and "Dazed and Confused," which Page would bring to his. The Yardbirds, 'Yardbirds '68' Track Listing Live at Anderson Theater "Train Kept A Rollin’" "Mr, You’re A Better Man Than I" "Heart Full of Soul" "Dazed And Confused" "My Baby" "Over Under Sideways Down" "Drinking Muddy Water" "Shapes of Things" "White Summer" "I’m A Man (contains Moanin’ And Sobbin’)".

Album · 1970 · 10 Songs. A milestone record of the folk-rock movement, CSN’s second album together (and their first with Y) was a virtual how-to for flower children entering adulthood in the ‘70s. It offers sweetly harmonised instruction on how to embrace domesticity ( Our House ), raise kids ( Teach Your Children ) and steer clear of trouble without selling out ( Almost Cut My Hair ). But Déjà Vu’s great power is its enigmatic familiarity, which carries Aquarian Age ideals into a new era ( Woodstock, Carry On ). Déjà Vu Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young.

Sha
Shame this isn't in better quality as it represents the VU very near their live peak. Intense version of What Goes on with plenty of guitar feedback and wild improvisation, this track turned up on the Peel Slowly And See boxset in the 90s.Heroin from an earlier La Cave appearance features John Cale... Yule was good but Cale brought a distinctive musicality to the band that was sorely missed afterwards.Sadly I would only rate this as 4/10 on the bootleg scale... but play it loud with a bit of EQ and the original power and fury of the VU may be glimpsed.... a fabulous document. More of the same can be had on the La Cave/Problems In Urban Living double album but for some reason that seems to be in more dubious quality.
