Let It Be Me is the fourth studio album by the Australian singer Jason Donovan. It was released in November 2008, and was Donovan's first new studio album in 15 years. It reached n. 8 in the UK. The album is a collection of cover versions of classic songs from the 1950s and 1960s, with only the final track being an original. Brian Eno produced the bonus track "Nobody But Me". "Let It Be Me" (Gilbert Becaud/Pierre Delanoe). It's All in the Game" (Charles Gates Dawes/Carl Sigman).

John Alford (born John James Shannon; 30 October 1971) is a British actor. He is known for his roles as Robbie Wright in the BBC series Grange Hill (1985–90) and Billy Ray in the ITV series London's Burning (1993–98). He also had three Top 30 hits on the UK Singles Chart in 1996. Born in Glasgow, Alford attended Anna Scher's stage school from age 11 in London, alongside future EastEnders actors Sid Owen and Patsy Palmer.

Let It Be Me" is a popular song originally published in French in 1955 as "Je t'appartiens" interpreted by Gilbert Bécaud. It became popular worldwide with an English version by The Everly Brothers and later with the duet by Betty Everett and Jerry Butler. The Everly Brothers helped to further popularize the song with their 1960 rendition of "Let It Be Me" which reached 7th position on the Billboard Hot 100. The harmony arrangement of this version was often emulated in subsequent remakes. This was the first Everly Brothers single to be recorded in New York, and not in Nashville. 2002 – Recorded by Olivia Newton-John & Cliff Richard for Olivia's (2) album.

Let It Be Lyrics: When I find myself in times of trouble, Mother Mary comes to me, Speaking words of wisdom, let it be, And in my hour of darkness, she is standing right in front of m. You know, ‘Let it b. I woke up and I remembered the dream, and I thought, ‘Well, that’s a great idea. And I then sat down and wrote the song using the feeling from that dream and of my mum coming to me in the dream. In his last major interview conducted by David Sheff, John Lennon didn’t have much to say about the song. That’s Pau. hat can you say?

The final Beatles album was first released on 8th May, 1970, just prior to the launch of the cinema film of the same name. This was remedied on 3rd January, 1970 when George, Paul and Ringo performed it without John who was in Denmark. A second single from the album, which was now titled Let It Be appeared on 6th March. Up to now the idea behind the album had been to capture the group "live in the studio" without overdubs or effects but this changed when producer, Phil Spector was brought in to re-produce the tracks.
