Warren Zevon is the second studio album by American musician Warren Zevon. This album was recorded in 1975 and released on May 10, 1976, by Asylum Records. A remastered version of the album with special bonus tracks was released in 2008 by Rhino Records

Lovers Who Wander was the last studio album from the Del-Lords and one of their best, but it was also the record that strayed farthest from the sound that made their name. Scott Kempner wrote most of the songs on Lovers Who Wander while his marriage was slowly falling apart, and the material reflects a period of dashed hopes and dreams gone sour, both for him and the band after years of hard work with little reward. As a consequence, Lovers Who Wander is an downbeat and contemplative set from a band more than capable of blowing the roof off the joint. But if the Del-Lords.

Dion, The Wanderer himself, came back in 1962 with a follow-up to that historic tune, another massive hit entitled Lovers Who Wander, which reached on the charts. Featuring Dion DiMucci’s unforgettable voice, and his classic NYC R&B/doo-wop backing, this is the sound of the Bronx circa 1962. Though one might dismiss Dion as merely teeny-bopper fare, he’s a massively talented songwriter which is born out by his introspective work from the mid to late 60s.
