Aerial M, Papa M, M, Pajo, Skullfisher. 1968-06-25) June 25, 1968 (age 51) Texas. In 2009, Pajo joined the Yeah Yeah Yeahs on the tour for their third album, It's Blitz!. He was confirmed to perform as Papa M at the ATP New York 2010 music festival in Monticello, New York in September 2010. In June 2010 it was announced that he would be joining the band Interpol as a tour member. He left the tour early on February 27, 2011. On February 12, 2015, Pajo attempted suicide after posting a lengthy suicide note on his personal blog.

Papa M released a string of singles in the 2000s as well as the full-lengths Whatever, Mortal (2001) and Hole of Burning Alms (2004), a collection of non-album material spanning several monikers. He switched to the Pajo moniker for 2005's self-titled album and the following year's 1968. Around this time, he played in Dead Child, a hard rock/metal band featuring members of the For Carnation, Parlour, and Shipping News. He also participated in Slint's occasional reunion tours and festival appearances.
