John Rich (born January 7, 1974) is an American country music singer-songwriter. From 1992 to 1998, he was a member of the country music band Lonestar, in which he played bass guitar and alternated with Richie McDonald as lead vocalist. After departing from the band in 1998, he embarked on a solo career on BNA Records in the late 1990s, releasing two singles for the label and recording Underneath the Same Moon, which was not released until 2006

Underneath the Same Moon," a previously unreleased 1999 solo album from Big & Rich's John Rich, will finally hit stores March 14 via BNA/Legacy, Billboard. The 12-track set features the original version of "I Pray for You" with partner Big Kenny, which was re-recorded for Big & Rich's most recent album, "Comin' to Your City. A number of guests contribute to "Moon," including Delbert McClinton on "She Brings the Lightnin' Down" and the Fairfield Four on "New Jerusalem.
