Yeti is the second studio album by German rock band Amon Düül II, first released in April 1970 on Liberty (Germany: LBS 83359/60 X; United Kingdom: LSP 101) as a double LP. The album was produced by Olaf Kübler and Amon Düül II, and engineered by Willy Schmidt, "with a little help of Siegfried E. Loch".

Things To Come ‎(LP, Album). Signed by the small Gull label (the Chess-affiliated Janus label acquiring American distribution rights), the duo made their recording debut with 1974's "Things To Come". Co-produced by O'Connor and Neil Richmond, the album's 14 tracks were really difficult to accurately describe. Interesting for a duo these guys managed to sound like an invading army. Portions of the album reflected the same cold distance you'd associate with Krautrock.

Quite interesting album of this American instrumental ms quartet. Stilistically we can find the hints to zeuhl, Rock In Opposition, also to experimental post rock. In my oppinion really the best work of them. And every composition on this record includes some very strong moments. This record is fine bunch of longish dark-edged travels! What we get to hear on the new reissue of Shape of things to come at hand is both: the entire studio work of MAX FROST AND THE TROOPERS plus the entire soundtrack album for the Wild in the streets movie and it is getting enormously colored and from time to time quite bizarre. The musical range goes from fuzzed out garage beat via soulful high energy rock numbers to a small quantity of acid freak outs. Includes unlimited streaming of Shape Of Things To Come via the free Bandcamp app, plus high-quality download in MP3, FLAC and more. 1. Shape Of Things To Come 01:57.

Well-composed and INTENSE sci-fi/zeuhl influenced instrumental stuff. I don't know if calling it "prog" would do it justice. You have to be in the right mood for this album - i.e. ready to match its energy level. It can be a pretty devastating listen - pummeling, intricate, and apocalyptic. For whatever reason it's very tough to find on CD, at least in decent condition.
