C'mon! Live A Little!" Episode Two Hundred Ninety-Four.
Fred Neil is the second album from Fred Neil, a pioneer folk rock musician. The album has a more laid-back sound than his debut, and contains his best-known songs; "Everybody's Talkin' " and "The Dolphins". It was re-released in 1969 under the title Everybody's Talkin' in response to the international success of the soundtrack of the movie Midnight Cowboy, which made a hit of the new title track for Harry Nilsson

As we will discover, he meticulously recreated a photograph of James Joyce for the cover of his debut solo album. Joyce and Beckett, he says, were some of my style heroes. Today, Forster could plausibly pass as an academic on a study trip from the Antipodes (he is indeed currently grappling with something akin to a memoir), or perhaps a senior diplomat, taking in a little culture at the British Museum between appointments in Whitehall
Only more so. Apart from Lynne himself, only two other people were on it – his daughter Laura singing background vocals on two songs, and engineer Steve Jay playing percussion. If Lynne wanted to call it ELO, he had every right – it was always his band. Loftily subtitled A Symphony By The Electric Light Orchestra, the group’s fourth album is described by Lynne as one of yer actual concept albums. The concept itself was somewhat vague. It’s about a dream world, said Lynne. But best of all is Can’t Get It Out Of My Head, one of Lynne’s most beautiful songs, surprisingly covered in 2007 by Velvet Revolver. 2) A New World Record (Jet, 1976). ELO’s sixth album was their big international breakthrough.
