Antonio Vivaldi Vivaldi: The Four Seasons In F Minor, Op. 8, RV 297, "Winter" - 1. Allegro N. 03:35. Antonio Vivaldi Vivaldi: Violin Concerto In F Minor, Op. 8/4, RV 297, "The Four Seasons (Winter)" - 1.
Robert King and the King's Consort don't bring the spark and verve to this music to make it a truly exciting performance, but their energy and ability are never in question, and they give Mackintosh all the support she needs. Recorded in thin but clear digital sound, this disc has its virtues, but is not likely to be everyone's first choice for Bach's ever-popular concertos. Concerto for 2 violins, strings & continuo in D minor ("Double"), BWV 1043.
