pleasure principle LP. PARLET (Artist) Format: Vinyl. Parlet was a well orchestrated album, with a little more of a concept album than the BOF but vocals were evenly matched. Always wanted to get this on CD because I wore the album out. Love hearing this in its clean digital sound. For an album presenting so many musical ideas as yet fairly unique to P-Funk,the entire Parlet venture was a messy and chaotic one right from the start. The trio consisting of Jeanette Washington,Debbie Wright and Marlia Franklin didn't have much (if any) experience at front lining. And even less as a collective group.
