Astoria is a grand houseboat, built in 1911 for impresario Fred Karno and adapted as a recording studio in the 1980s by its new owner, Pink Floyd guitarist David Gilmour. It is moored on the River Thames at Hampton in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames. Gilmour purchased the boat in 1986, because he "spent half of life in recording studios with no windows, no light, but on the boat there are many windows, with beautiful scenery on the outside".

As rubies fall from the sky so does the tears of a young girl scorching the ground upon impact with screaming pain through anger. As blue eyes bloom within Rad soles they became a blur of their former self, Brown trees give way to bunt sticks like a box of matches with Ashes to accompany them. The nearby Springs become a hot tub.
The Canary Cry is a weapon created by Cisco Ramon for Laurel Lance that projects sonic waves when used. After Laurel's death, the device was stolen and used by Evelyn Sharp. Felicity Smoak later modified the Canary Cry into a bracelet for Sara Lance to use. Sara then gave the weapon to Dinah Drake, who'd lost her sonic scream
