The album opens with the track Banjo Symphony – which right there is great, because I love banjos. This band has everything you’d want in a country bluegrass band, banjos, fiddles, harmonicas and cowboys. The only thing missing is a steel guitar, however, this song is rather good and it’s definitely a good bluegrass jam session.

The Rodeo Song was on its 1980 debut album, Welcome to the Rodeo, which sold more than 200,000 units, earning double-platinum status. But it didn’t stop there. According to SoundScan, sales of The Rodeo Song have exceeded 111,000 in the United States since 1991. In Canada since 1996, purchases of the single are approaching 30,000, including more than 2,100 last year. Showdown ended up earning a 1982 Juno Award nomination for top country group
