Gabriel Kahane (born 1981 in Venice Beach, California) is an American composer and singer-songwriter living in New York City. Gabriel Kahane is the son of a psychologist mother and the concert pianist and conductor Jeffrey Kahane. He attended the New England Conservatory before transferring to Brown University, where he wrote his first musical and graduated with a bachelor's degree in music. Kahane currently lives in Brooklyn and performs his original songs in venues across the United States.
