These are must have cds if you are a Ricky Nelson fan. Rick Nelson shows on these 2 cds that he had so much talent and vision. From Teen Idol, to Country artist to Country Rock pioneer he was and is a Rock-n-Roll legend. This 2 album CD is a natural transition from Rick's Rockabilly music of the late 50's and early 60's and a prelude to his Stone Canyon Band. Some great standard Country songs done tastefully and with plenty of heart both from Rick and James Burton, who is extrordinary on the dobro as well as the Telecaster. Rick wrote two of the songs on these albums, both of which are excellent compositions. If your a fan of Ricks, new or old, you'll be more than glad you purchansed this CD.
