Very good concert album with musicians who were friends of George Harrison, performing the songs he wrote. First half of the concert was made up of compositions by Ravi Shankar performed by an Indian orchestra that was conducted by his daughter, Anoushka. All through the concert, George's young son plays guitar and sings backing vocals. Shankar's India sound is very pleasant but is packaged on a separate disc so if you are not into that, Disc 2 has all of the pure Harrison songs. Appropriate for the sentiment and the fact that Harrison loved the ukulele and on trips he always packed two as his son said, "just in case someone else wanted to play too".

Album: The Concert for Bangladesh. Release Date: December 20, 1971. In the tradition established by George Harrison and Ravi Shankar, The George Harrison Fund for UNICEF continues to support UNICEF programs in Bangladesh while expanding its influence to include other countries in crisis where children are at risk. Expanded & Remastered Album Re-issue: 2005.
